Le Regroupement pour la Valorisation de la Paternité est né de la rencontre en '96,d'un intervenant du Carrefour Familial Hochelaga à Montréal et d'un éducateur du CLSC du quartier. Ces deux intervenants, travaillant depuis quelques années dans des groupes d'entraide, de croissance et en périnatalité avec des papas de milieu défavorisé avaient une vision commune :- Contre-balancer l'image négative de la paternité charriée par les médias en organisant une grande campagne de VALORISATION de la paternité précédent la fête des pères chaque année. |
